Technical Instructor (Engineering T Levels)
Required from: 1st December 2022 (earlier start date possible)
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Support salary range: £24,842-£26,574
(Starting salary dependent upon qualifications and experience)

Not only can we offer the chance to teach successful and ambitious students, but we can do so in the beautiful Cotswold setting of Cirencester. Our Engineering and Construction Team is enthusiastic, supportive and will be breaking a lot of moulds. They work together closely and have a genuine passion for their subjects. We are seeking an adaptable and creative individual to develop student’s skills and confidence with technology in a workshop setting and contribute to the new T Level qualifications. We always do things differently at Cirencester so we welcome new ideas.
This role is particularly exciting as you would be joining us just as we take over and equip our brand-new workshops (1 each for design, construct and test and a separate one for maintenance) in a purpose-built building.
This role who looking for a sideways move into education and who wants the chance to create something really special.
Candidates should have a commitment to further education and be motivated to achieve high standards. The ability to work well within teams and to adapt to curriculum demands is essential. Ideally candidates should possess engineering qualifications or a background in plumbing or heating but we are open to those with skills but without qualifications, especially from a military engineering background.
