Due to internal promotions, we are looking to appoint a qualified Teacher of English to join our successful, and developing, team.

Full Time, Permanent, M1 - UPS, required from 1 January 2023 or earlier if available

The successful candidate will need a personality that is vibrant and engaging and can demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills. In addition to having a strong subject knowledge of English Language and Literature, we would also look for a colleague who has a passion for Teaching and Learning and who will engage enthusiastically in furthering their own personal development, regardless of their career stage.

Your duties will specifically include:

Planning outstanding lessons that meet the needs of all students whilst developing a high-quality programme of study that includes accurate target setting.

Monitor and report on the progress of students and take appropriate action to ensure all students achieve their potential through exceptional methods of feedback.

Meeting the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and High Attaining students.
