Science Technician (Maternity Cover)

Pay Grade: Grade 5 - SCP 4 to SCP 6

Working Hours: 37 hours per week – Term time only

To start: As soon as possible – Fixed Term to July 2023

Queen Elizabeth’s School is looking to recruit a technician to join the team working within the Science Faculty. Working together, the science technicians support the teaching staff in a variety of activities as directed by the Head of Faculty.

The ideal candidate will have:

Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Knowledge of CLEAPPS guidelines and demonstrable IT skills.

Previous experience in this field or of working in a school environment would be an advantage but further training will be provided for this post.

Science based A-Levels or higher qualification is desirable although not essential.
